Our immune system is made up of a collection of cells capable of detecting a foreign body, recognizing abnormalities, and neutralizing the interfering element. When a foreign body enters our body, the immune system triggers a chain of biological processes to protect it.

Stress, fatigue or even a poor diet can alter the proper functioning of our immune system. That’s why vitamin supplementation helps keep it functioning properly.

Vitamins :

Vitamins are essential for vital functions and the proper functioning of many organs. The body synthesizes only one vitamin, by exposure of the skin to the sun: vitamin D. The other vitamins must be provided by food. Vitamin supplementation through food supplements may therefore be recommended in case of insufficient food intake.

No food contains all the vitamins. There are 13 vitamins: A, B complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12), C, D, E and K, and a person's daily needs depend on their age, sex, his body, his lifestyle such as sport or the type of diet.

ORGANIC ROYAL JELLY:

Royal jelly is a superfood secreted by nurse bees. It is mainly produced to feed the larvae of the colony during the first three days of their life. Indeed, the food of the larvae plays a key role in the differentiation between queen and worker. At the start of their development, the larvae all receive royal jelly. From the third day, some larvae are fed exclusively on royal jelly and will then give queens. In contrast, larvae fed with a mixture of royal jelly and bee bread (pollen) will become workers.

Royal Jelly is a gelatinous and sweet substance very rich in vitamin B5, minerals and trace elements. Royal jelly is widely studied by researchers for the benefits it can provide in humans. VITAMIN C FROM ORGANIC ACEROLA

Found in most fruits and vegetables, vitamin C is an essential building block that the body cannot manufacture. It can only be obtained through food in certain fruits such as acerola, blackcurrant, guava, certain vegetables or herbs or as a supplement in food supplements. The vitamin C in our ORGANIC IMMUNITY comes from an acerola extract from organic farming. One of its main properties is to participate in the proper functioning of the immune system and reduce mental and physical fatigue. In addition, vitamin C will help protect cells from free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.

VITAMIN D FROM ORGANIC LICHEN :

In France, more than 50% of the population is affected by the lack of vitamin D according to the latest study from the Academy of Medicine. This study, published in the epidemiological bulletin of the National Institute for Public Health Surveillance (carried out on vitamin D in 1,587 adults aged 18 to 74 years not taking vitamin D supplementation) shows that 80.1% of the French population has a vitamin D deficiency: 42.5% has a moderate to severe deficiency and 4.8% has a severe deficiency. Indeed, a lack of vitamin D can lead to physical and psychological fatigue and a decline in the immune system.

The vitamin D contained in our IMMUNITY BIO® comes from an extract of lichen from organic farming. Once ingested, vitamin D is directly assimilated by the small intestine, transported to the liver for metabolism, then it travels to the kidneys where it is activated.
